About the Role:
The Service Engineer's role is to provide installation, servicing, and technical assistance at client sites, ensuring seamless equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
● Visit client sites for installation, inspection, and repairs of equipment
● Provide on-site and remote technical support
● Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and mechanical issues
● Train clients on new equipment usage and maintenance
● Perform preventive maintenance tasks
● Manage and execute scheduled AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) visits, ensuring timely servicing and documentation
● Maintain documentation for all service visits
● Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols
● Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments
Candidate Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
● 2–3 years of relevant experience in service/field engineering
● Background in ITI or maintenance preferred
● Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
● Effective communication and reporting ability
● Proficiency in handling automated machinery
● Willingness to travel (local/outstation) as per service schedule
