About this Role:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Plating Solution Production Engineer with a background in Chemical Engineering or Production Engineering to manage and optimize the production of rhodium and related precious metal processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for process planning, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and maintaining product quality in a highly controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage daily operations of rhodium and gold plating solution production.
• Monitor raw material usage, yield efficiencies, and process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to scale up lab processes to commercial production.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, SOPs, batch sheets, and logbooks.
• Handle process troubleshooting, equipment maintenance coordination, and root cause analysis.
• Train and supervise plant operators and technical staff.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Production Engineering (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in precious metal production, refining, or chemical processing.
• Strong understanding of hydrometallurgy, inorganic chemistry, and high-purity metal production is preferred.
• Familiarity with hazardous chemical handling, safety protocols, and effluent treatment.
Skills and Competencies:
• Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving approach.
• Knowledge of process control systems, instrumentation, and plant operations.
• Good documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom or high-purity lab environment.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with rhodium, platinum group metals (PGMs), or similar high-value chemical production.
• Exposure to NABL or ISO-certified lab/production setups
