About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled ITI Fitter / Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in machine maintenance, mechanical fitting, and calibration activities. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, safety-conscious, and capable of handling mechanical systems and instruments efficiently to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation of machinery and equipment.
2. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
3. Carry out calibration of instruments, gauges, and mechanical tools.
4. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
5. Maintain equipment performance records and calibration logs.
6. Support production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
7. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and GMP standards during maintenance activities.
Required Skills:
1) Strong knowledge of mechanical tools, instruments, and machine maintenance.
2) Hands-on experience in calibration of instruments and gauges.
3) Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
4) Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and diagrams.
5) Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
6) Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel) will be an added advantage.
7) Qualification: ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical / B.Sc (Mechanical or Industrial Science)
8) Experience: 1–3 years in manufacturing, process, or calibration industry.
9) Candidates with exposure to ISO / NABL calibration procedures will be preferred.
