Job Title: Casting Engineer
Location: MIDC Andheri (E), Mumbai.

About the Role:
The Casting Engineer’s role is to develop, optimize, and implement investment-casting processes both in-house and at customer sites, ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and timely resolution of casting-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new/improved investment-casting processes, tooling and material studies.
- Analyze existing production methods and implement process improvements at customer sites.
- Establish process standards, routing, and manufacturing instructions to maximize efficiency.
- Create engineering specifications, process sheets, and performance-analysis tools.
- Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions for safety, quality, or production deviations.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards reflecting process performance and project status.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of casting equipment on/off site.
- Travel to customer locations (city/outstation) for process implementation, training, and troubleshooting.
- Report daily activities, findings, and recommendations to the Sr. Engineer.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (or related).
- 1–3 years’ experience in investment-casting or metallurgical process engineering.
- Hands-on knowledge of metallurgy, gating, thermal and mould design, and flow simulations.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic engineering reporting (PPF).
- Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-site training capability.
- Willingness to travel and work independently at customer facilities.
